Senior Family Dispute Resolution Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner to lead our dispute resolution program. This individual will provide strategic direction, conduct family dispute resolution conferences and arbitrations, and mentor colleagues to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct family dispute resolution conferences and arbitrations with expertise in parenting and property settlement disputes.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to the team, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Mentor and coach colleagues to develop their skills and expertise in family law.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Promote Legal Aid Queensland's commitment to quality legal services through representation and policy contributions.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner in Queensland.
- Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
- Experience in family law, particularly in complex cases.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
