Job Overview

TAFE Queensland is a leading Vocational Education and Training provider in the state, delivering industry-relevant training for over 140 years.

We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead to lead the strategic coordination and delivery of product-related projects across TAFE Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of significant, complex and diverse product-related projects across TAFE Queensland.
  • Actively engage with cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritise, and resource projects effectively.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of project coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management and accurate reporting.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve organisational objectives and enhance team performance through well-established leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain successful working partnerships with both staff and stakeholders, enabling the achievement of project goals.
  • Experience in establishing new processes, workflows, and systems involving software to improve learner engagement in innovative and creative ways.

This role requires strong project management skills related to both online and traditional learning and assessment development, as well as high level of personal motivation and professionalism.
