We aim to deliver exceptional results and innovative solutions closely connected with our industries. As a Senior Advisor, Product Projects, you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic initiatives and coordinating product-related projects across TAFE Queensland.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and deadlines.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to scope, prioritise, and resource projects effectively.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management, and accurate reporting.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to achieve organisational objectives and enhance team performance through well-established leadership skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build and sustain successful working partnerships with both staff and stakeholders, enabling the achievement of project goals.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Experience in establishing new processes, workflows, and systems involving software to improve learner engagement in innovative and creative ways.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills related to both online and traditional learning and assessment development.
  • Motivation and Professionalism: High level of personal motivation and professionalism, with a proven ability to drive the development and implementation of quality learning and assessment products in a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.
  • Technology Utilisation: Proficiency in leveraging new and emerging technologies to facilitate improvements in productivity and project outcomes.
