Job Title: Technical Trainer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team at Daimler Trucks North America LLC. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to our dealerships across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training programs for our dealerships, ensuring that all training is delivered on time, on budget, and meets the required learning objectives.
- Training Coordination: Collaborate with the training team to ensure alignment and coordination of all training activities, including venue, equipment, and resources.
- Training Administration: Maintain accurate training records, reports, and accounts, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Training Resources: Ensure that all required training resources, including handouts, travel, and venue arrangements, are booked in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Training Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize training resources and costs, ensuring maximum occupancy in training courses.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, incorporating new learning methodologies and technologies into our training programs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in delivering training in a product or technical capacity within the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in the heavy vehicle sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to external partners at all management levels.
- Exceptional time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
- A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
- A high school certificate and tertiary education in the area of Automotive or Heavy Commercial Vehicle repair.
