Pension Technical Analyst Role Summary

The Pension Technical Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality time-critical reporting and manual payments. This role requires collaboration with several departments within EQ retirement solutions to ensure all reporting is completed correctly and within specified timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a focal point for technical queries and provide expert advice and guidance
  • Ensure compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pensions legislation
  • Contribute to the design and development of new approaches and solutions in line with business and/or client needs
  • Produce technically sound processes and procedures
  • Collate and analyze data to produce solutions
  • Maintain awareness of other business activities and work flexibly across other departments
  • Identify service improvement and efficiency opportunities
  • Perform ad-hoc activities as determined by the Operational Manager
  • Deliver manual payments and daily reporting to clients

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Proven track record of quality, timely delivery
  • Computer literacy with a willingness to learn various systems
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience with Trade Dates / Box Management is preferred
  • Prior pensions technical analyst experience is essential
