Pension Technical Analyst Role Summary

The Pension Technical Analyst will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate reporting and manual payments. This role requires collaboration with various departments within EQ retirement solutions to ensure all reporting is completed correctly and within specified timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a focal point for technical queries and provide expert advice and guidance
  • Ensure compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pensions legislation
  • Contribute to the design and development of new approaches and solutions in line with business and/or client needs
  • Produce technically sound processes and procedures
  • Collate and analyze data to produce solutions
  • Maintain awareness of other business activities and work flexibly across other departments
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and efficiency
  • Perform ad-hoc activities as determined by Operational Manager
  • Deliver manual payments and daily reporting to clients

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive working relationships
  • Proven track record of quality, timely delivery
  • Computer literacy with a willingness to learn various systems
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience of Trade Dates / Box Management preferred
  • Previous pensions technical analyst experience is essential
