Role Summary

The Pension Technical Specialist will be responsible for time-sensitive reporting and manual payments. The role is collaborative in nature and the candidate will be required to liaise with several departments within Equiniti's retirement solutions to ensure all reporting is completed correctly and within specified timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a focal point for technical queries and providing expert advice and guidance
  • Ensuring compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations, and pensions legislation
  • Contributing to the design and development of new approaches and solutions in line with business and/or client needs
  • Responsibility for producing technically sound processes and procedures
  • Collating and analyzing data to produce solutions
  • Maintaining an awareness of other business activities and working flexibly across other departments
  • Service improvement and efficiency identification
  • Ad-hoc activities as determined by Operational Manager
  • Manual Payments
  • Daily Reporting to client

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven track record of quality, timely delivery
  • Ability to develop positive and productive working relationships
  • Computer literacy with a willingness to learn a variety of systems
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience of Trade Dates / Box Management preferred
  • Previous pensions technical analyst experience is essential
