Job Title EHS and Rail Safety Professional

 

Job Description:

As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe delivery of our rail projects. This involves providing EHS and Rail Safety support across construction, testing, and commissioning phases for major projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide EHS and Rail Safety support across construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and implement best practice management systems.
  • Monitor daily site tasks and advise on risks and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and legislative requirements for health and safety.
  • Manage subcontractor compliance and WHS induction/training.
  • Conduct audits, investigate incidents, and coordinate return-to-work activities.
  • Monitor Rollingstock Operations compliance under ONRSR Accreditation.

 

Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • ICAM training (preferred).
  • White Card and RISI Card (preferred).
  • Identified Rail Safety Worker status.
  • Experience working with complex stakeholders.
  • Open, approachable personality and a flexible, self-directed work style.
