Key Responsibilities:- Deliver EHS and Rail Safety support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases for major rail projects.
- Enhance best practice management systems through continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Monitor daily site tasks to advise on risks and controls, promoting a culture of compliance.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Manage subcontractor compliance and WHS induction/training, maintaining safe workplaces.
- Audit sites, investigate incidents, and coordinate return-to-work activities, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Verify Rollingstock Operations compliance under relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct site inspections with stakeholders to guarantee safe workplaces and system compliance.
- Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- ICAM training (desired).
- White Card and RISI Card (desired).
- Identified Rail Safety Worker status.
- Experience collaborating with complex stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and flexible work style.
