Lead Commercial Contracts Specialist

They operate across large-scale projects, from offices and aged care facilities to boutique hotels.
This position requires a driven professional to oversee all commercial aspects of the build ensuring contract compliance, financial accuracy, risk control, and clarity across subcontractor packages.
- End-to-end contract administration of head contracts and subcontract packages
- Leading procurement, tender negotiations, scope clarifications, and amending contracts
- Managing variations, progress claims, claims certification, and payment reviews
- Providing accurate cost forecasts, budget reporting, and P&L analysis
- Identifying and managing commercial risks, delays, and claim disputes
- Building strong relationships with commercial, site, and client teams
- Ensuring adherence to contractual, statutory, and company compliance standards
For this role, we require a tertiary-qualified professional in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
Experience in contract administration on major commercial or hospitality projects (preferably $100M+) is essential.
A proven track record of managing large-scale new build contract administration is also required.
Key skills include exceptional attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, analytical rigour, excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency with MS Office and cost management software.
