Overview

We are currently seeking a commercial contracts specialist to join our legal team on an interim-to-perm basis. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assess legal risks and commercial drivers, and communicate complex legal issues in a clear, concise and practical manner.

This is a potential interim-to-perm role, with the initial term starting on a contract basis. Responsibilities include providing legal advice focusing on procurement, customer sales, service agreements, and M&A activities. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, agreements, and other legal documents.

Assess and advise on legal risks while supporting the business in its management. Collaborate with stakeholders on legal matters and compliance procedures. Qualifications include being a qualified lawyer or solicitor with 1-4 years of post-admission experience.

Experience with commercial contracts and M&A, knowledge of competition and consumer law is a plus. Ability to advise stakeholders on legal risks and commercial contracts effectively. Strong judgment, pragmatic approach, and ability to align legal advice with commercial decision-making. Excellent communication skills for conveying complex legal issues clearly and practically.
