Production Planning Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Manager to join our team. This is a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our large-scale production facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans, managing inventory levels, and optimizing resource allocation for a 24/7 operation.

This includes:

  1. Developing and implementing efficient production plans to meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective production across multiple shifts
  2. Leading and mentoring a team of production planners to achieve their goals and develop their skills
  3. Forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products
  4. Defining resource plans, analyzing capital requirements, and defining solutions to enable growth and the needs of a dynamic operation
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  6. Analyzing data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and making data-driven decisions
  7. Developing and implementing continuity plans and mitigation strategies for anticipated disruptions and risks
