Agricultural Appointments is a leading provider of irrigation and water management services with over 30 years' experience within the agricultural, dairy and commercial industries. We provide a range of irrigation solutions from product selection and design to installation, service and repair. Our team is experienced in designing, supplying and installing irrigation systems across Tasmania, from hobby farmers to large scale farms, and provides mobile on-site servicing as well as repairs and upgrades to existing irrigation systems.

We are seeking an Irrigation Sales Representative to drive sales and provide strong customer service. This role would represent the customers interest by ensuring the irrigation project is on track and that the customer is satisfied. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading national irrigation providers. Equally suited for an experienced irrigation sales specialist or someone with good interpersonal skills who is keen to learn irrigation design and carve out a long-term career in the industry. The right person for this role could also come from a farming or agricultural background or have worked in rural merchandise sales or agronomy.

Responsibilities
  • Proactive lead generation & customer contact (site visits as required)
  • Attend to branch customer and sales, service and project enquiries
  • Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers and other parties as necessary
  • Adhere and exceed budget and KPI expectations
Requirements
  • A successful track record in irrigation sales, new business development or in a similar agricultural field
  • Project Management skills and irrigation sales and design experience within the Tasmanian region (preferred but not essential)
  • A passion for driving, delivering and overachieving on new business sales targets
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • A valid drivers licence and sound computer literacy
  • A desire to grow and develop a long-standing career within the business
Remuneration and Location

Our target salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum plus superannuation and vehicle allowance, plus an excellent bonus scheme. The role is located at Longford in the northern midlands of beautiful Tasmania.
