The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. You will represent our clients' interests by ensuring that irrigation projects are delivered on time and to their satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for irrigation sales and design, or those looking to grow a long-term career in the industry. Experience in rural merchandise sales or agronomy is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generate leads and establish relationships with customers;
  • Attend to branch customer inquiries and sales, service, and project requirements;
  • Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as necessary;
  • Adhere to and exceed budget and key performance indicator expectations.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in irrigation sales, new business development, or a similar agricultural field;
  • Project management skills and experience in irrigation sales and design within the Tasmanian region (preferred but not essential);
  • A passion for driving, delivering, and exceeding new business sales targets;
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills;
  • A valid driver's license and sound computer literacy;
  • A desire to grow and develop a long-standing career within the business.

Remuneration and Location:

The successful candidate can expect a remuneration package commensurate with experience, targeting a salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation, vehicle allowance, and an excellent bonus scheme. The role is based in Longford, a picturesque town in northern midlands Tasmania.
