Healthcare Director for Aboriginal Communities

The Executive Director Aboriginal Health will provide strategic leadership and advice on Aboriginal health issues across the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN). They will be responsible for ensuring clinical services receive the necessary support and direction to deliver effective and culturally acceptable services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Leadership and CollaborationThe successful candidate will lead a team of healthcare professionals and work closely with stakeholders to facilitate change and improve health outcomes. They will demonstrate sound strategic leadership experience in the public, community, or private sectors, with a focus on improving quality of life for indigenous communities.
Clinical Governance and AccountabilityThe Executive Director will be clinically and operationally responsible for four Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health and Services and a residential service across both the CALHN and NALHN catchments. This includes service development, design, planning, performance, and governance structures.

RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Sound strategic leadership experience in the public, community, or private sectors

- Able to maintain cultural integrity at a systemic and personal level
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary health care issues as they relate to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
