Effective Communication Strategist for the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions

**Job Title:** Media Liaison and Communications Officer
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is seeking a skilled Communications Officer to assist in delivering effective communication strategies throughout the office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, developing and implementing communications strategies that support the ODPP's strategic objectives. This includes initiating and maintaining effective contacts and cooperative relationships with media and other key stakeholders, as well as acting as the principal media contact.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of communications strategies, coordinate media liaison and communications activities, and provide advice on sensitive issues in the news. You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of effective communication strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills, high-level written communication skills, and the ability to exercise good judgement and discretion. You must also be able to balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
