Role Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will support engagement with multicultural communities to promote play, attendance and following of cricket in Australia. This role includes digital activities through various channels, community events and associated projects.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to plan and implement digital activities through our channels, creating engaging content and monitoring page performance.
  • You will structure a content plan to capitalise on storytelling opportunities via owned and earned channels, growing connection and affinity to Australian Cricket.
  • Key responsibilities include building best practice social and digital initiatives, exploring further opportunities for digital following and growth, and developing clear guidelines for content moderation.
  • As a key member of our team, you will support the delivery of Australian Cricket's Multicultural Action Plan, including initiatives aligned to digital marketing and community engagement.
  • You will also help deliver community engagement events for multicultural communities, including cultural and community events and trophy tours to drive engagement outcomes.
  • An essential part of your role will be building relationships with multicultural community groups across the cricket season.
  • You will contribute ideas and insights to broader marketing plans, ensuring campaigns are inclusive and resonate with diverse communities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in marketing and communications is required.
  • You should hold relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Communications or Marketing degree.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and how to manage a variety of accounts and pages is essential.
  • You must be passionate about content creation and connecting with a diverse range of audiences.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills and strong attention to detail are vital for this role.
  • You will need to build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solving problems on the go is crucial.
  • You should have a strong understanding of different cultures and communities and be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
