Job Opportunity

The position of PR Specialist is a dynamic role that involves working closely with various stakeholders, including media, marketing, and fan engagement teams.

About the Role
  • Create a comprehensive media strategy to promote the summer of cricket, ensuring regular engagement and activity across multicultural communities.
  • Act as Media Operations and Communications Lead for International and Domestic tours and matches, driving attendance amongst multicultural communities.
  • Support the delivery of Australian Cricket's Multicultural Action Plan, aligning initiatives to communications and community engagement objectives.
  • Develop a content plan to capitalize on storytelling opportunities via owned and earned channels, growing player connection and affinity to Australian cricket.
  • Organize community engagement events for multicultural communities, including cultural and community events, trophy tours, and other initiatives to drive media outcomes.
  • Promote stories from multicultural communities across community, pathways, and elite levels.
  • Foster relationships with media across the cricket season, creating opportunities for media coverage.
  • Design and implement communications plans and media opportunities for Australia teams/matches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of multicultural communities and their engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills.
