Diversity and Inclusion Role

Job Description:

This role plays a key part in helping celebrate, support and advocate for multicultural Victorians.

You will assist with a range of communications and events activities, providing meaningful, memorable and engaging content and experiences for diverse audiences.

  • You will support delivery of an annual program, including Cultural Diversity Week, Multicultural Awards for Excellence, Multicultural Honour Roll, Victorian Refugee Awards and Multicultural Film Festival.
  • You will assist in preparation and implementation of communication plans and promotional campaigns.
  • You will produce or edit video messages, and sometimes short presentations and speeches, for Commissioners.
  • You will support the content planning and effective management of digital presence, including website, social media channels and intranet.
  • You will ensure the content and production quality of materials are appropriate for audiences and consistent with brand, strategic priorities and objectives.
