Job Description

As a Risk and Controls Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects focused on risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives. You will collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective business assurance strategies, providing valuable insights to drive their success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects to provide assurance and advisory services around risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective business assurance strategies.
  • Provide assurance and advisory services on ESG compliance and SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.
  • One or more of the following or equivalent +3 years of experience in providing assurance or assurance advisory over risk and controls (business process and/or IT general controls), program and project risk management services, regulatory compliance (e.g., privacy, SOC I Act, ESG, SOX, Spam Act).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP) are a plus.
