About the Role

Mt. Pritchard-based Mounties Group is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join their team. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the internal audit program, managing audit assignments, and presenting audit findings to the Board and management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing independent and objective evaluations of company financial and operational activities
  • Assessing risk control management and governance processes
  • Performing end-to-end audits, project reviews, and advice in accordance with auditing requirements and professional internal auditing standards
  • Preparing risk-based internal audit plans and facilitating the implementation of management action plans
  • Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and the Board on audits and business activities

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary and post-graduate qualifications in accounting
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships at all levels and across complex businesses
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
