About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Mounties Group. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the internal audit program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with management teams to implement audit findings and ensure effective risk management.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and the Board on audit findings and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary and post-graduate qualifications in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
