Senior Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy transmission and distribution. As a seasoned Senior Substation Engineer, you will play a crucial part in designing and delivering innovative substation solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Your expertise in high voltage projects, particularly in Western Australia and/or the Northern Territory, will be invaluable in ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations. Your technical leadership skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide timely advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead detail designs and technical reports for primary or secondary substation systems.

  • Develop and optimize designs for substations, working closely with civil and mechanical engineers.

  • Collaborate with drafting experts to produce single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and substation layouts.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.

  • Experience in high voltage projects in Western Australia and/or the Northern Territory as a consultant, developer, owner, or contractor in the energy and/or mining or resources sector.

  • Strong technical capability, report writing skills, and excellent communication skills.
