Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical packages on various infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles and be able to develop schedules, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage electrical packages on the project.
  • Ensure work undertaken complies with the scope and meets operational requirements.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Supervise electrical discipline work and ensure it meets quality, cost, and time constraints.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential problems in respect of budgets, schedules, engineering standards.
  • Identify risks and drive implementations of appropriate controls and mitigations.
  • Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years relevant industry experience in a similar role within the mining, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of control systems and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in working on engineering projects within the mining industry.
  • Previous experience interfacing with clients and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver work within agreed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements.
