Electrical Superintendent

We are seeking a senior electrical professional to lead a team of experts in delivering high-quality electrical infrastructure upgrades.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the work of external contractors and suppliers, conducting regular audits on electrical activities, and ensuring all statutory notices and certifications are completed and recorded in accordance with legislation.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example in promoting best practice HSE and mentoring junior leaders and employees in technical and quality requirements
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of resources to achieve planned outcomes, including prestart risk assessments and reviewing and authorising job hazard analyses
  • Oversee performance of external contractors and suppliers, compile work packs for project works, and conduct regular audits on electrical activities and installing works
  • Monitor, record, analyse, and report on performance indicators, utilise professional networks to increase bid opportunities
About You:
  • Hold a WA Electrical Licence and experience in a supervisory position
  • Have Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training or Section 44 certification
  • Have strong technical knowledge of fixed plant mining and other industrial construction projects, experience completing CMS documentation, and experience in a multidisciplinary project or shutdown environment
  • Be able to manage and execute end-to-end deliverables on multiple projects and hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
