Job Title: Technical Services Manager

This role oversees the technical service operations, ensuring that vehicle technicians possess the required skills to meet manufacturer standards.

It involves developing and delivering training programs for Foton's light trucks and LCVs, including internal combustion engines and new energy vehicles (NEVs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual training sessions for FOTON technicians, encompassing onboarding, diagnostics, and NEV systems.
  • Develop and update training content, assessments, and hands-on modules in accordance with FOTON Global standards and emerging technologies.
  • Provide on-site technical support, coaching, and mentoring to technicians, including fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Monitor and analyze technical trends using FPRS, implementing training interventions to address recurring faults.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, engineers, and internal teams to support product updates, recalls, and service campaigns.
About You:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a technical trainer or senior technician in light commercial vehicles, with preference given to EV/hybrid knowledge.

Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) are mandatory requirements.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to drive change and deliver results in dynamic environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is necessary, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
