Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Operations Lead to join our team at News Corp Australia. As a key member of our Cross Network Products team, you will be responsible for driving the day-to-day agile operations and internal stakeholder communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control the cadence of agile delivery within Cross Network Products, facilitating standups, sprint planning and review, showcases & retros.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to traffic and prioritize tasks into the wider agile processes across the business.
  • Coordinate prioritized tasks with business owners and digital delivery teams.
  • Identify and escalate blockers to team progress, owning these to resolution.
  • Collate data and report on delivery and product performance across the Cross Network Product suite.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with the application and administration of adapted Agile principles.
  • Proven passion for the use of JIRA & Agile principles to create efficient delivery environments.
  • Ability to think on your feet and show a lot of initiative, with high levels of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Goal-oriented delivery manager who can manage and track progress blockers.
  • Strong risk assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent in developing and implementing continuous process improvements and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills, facilitation, consultative skills with proven ability to influence outcomes.
