Job Opportunity:

Melbourne Airport is seeking an Airfield Coordinator to oversee the safe staging and storage of ground servicing equipment and Unit Load Devices.

  • Responsibilities include real-time support to airlines and ground handling teams, auditing equipment demand and capacity, monitoring Unit Load Device stock levels, and reviewing CCTV footage.
  • Other duties include coordinating offsite transfers, providing regular reports on stock holdings, and contributing to improving the design and layout of equipment storage areas.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of airfield, airline, or ground handling operations is essential.
  • Familiarity with aviation safety regulations and strong communication skills are also required.
  • Highly organised and structured approach to work is necessary.
  • Ability to introduce and embed new systems from concept through to implementation is a must.
