Resort Front Desk Associate Job Description

This role is for a professional and friendly individual who can provide exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a front office reception setting, preferably within hotels or resorts.

The job involves greeting and welcoming guests, handling inquiries, and coordinating with staff to ensure seamless guest experiences. It also requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, willing to assist others without being asked, and has a high level of problem-solving skills. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests professionally and make them feel at home.
  • Handle guest inquiries efficiently and provide accurate information about the resort and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping staff and other contractors to ensure units are prepared for guests.
  • Assist in resolving any guest issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Front Office Receptionist role within hotels or resorts is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of booking systems, such as RESLY.
