We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Complex Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dedicated team at The Westin and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane. With a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our venues, including The Charles Bar, The Eatery, Nautilus Pool Bar, Settimo Restaurant Bar, and our extensive Catering and Event Spaces.

About the Role:

  • Implement policies and procedures that ensure seamless venue operations
  • Manage compliance with beverage and liquor laws, maintaining a high level of expertise in F&B control
  • Understand labor costs, beverage costs, and reporting, ensuring accurate financial management
  • Empower associates to provide excellent guest service, focusing on continuous improvement
  • Maintain food handling and sanitation standards, ensuring a safe environment
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, resolving guest complaints efficiently
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Assistant Food & Beverage Management or similar role
  • Proven people management skills, with a focus on associate empowerment
  • In-depth knowledge of beverage trends and best practices in hospitality
  • Excellent communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building
  • Skill in developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal teams
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
