Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to lead our food and beverage operations in Brisbane. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and efficiency in our restaurants, bars, and lounges.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of food and beverage staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure menu consistency, quality, and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, development, and well-being.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A proven track record in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • A strong understanding of food safety regulations, liquor licensing laws, and relevant industry standards.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis software.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
