This dispensary assistant will be responsible for assisting the Senior Pharmacist/Pharmacist with duties as required under their direct supervision. Key tasks may include customer service, general dispensary duties, co-ordinating distribution of stock, managing stock shelf life, and disposing/returning expired items. The successful candidate will also assist in stocktaking of medical and dental supplies in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures.

Requirements">
  1. The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  2. Certificate Qualified non-pharmacist Dispensary Assistant/Technician (Dispensary Technicians Course Certificate, or equivalent).
  3. 2 Years (full time) experience as a Dispensary Assistant/Technician within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
  4. Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.
