Healthcare Specialist

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to provide clinical triage services, help callers make informed decisions about their health, and work collaboratively with a dedicated team. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in a dynamic environment and enjoy flexible working arrangements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical guidance to callers through our triage system
  • Ensuring high-quality care outcomes are met by using technology and clinical assessment skills to arrive at a suitable disposition for each caller

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse Division 1 with recent experience (full-time equivalent nursing experience in a clinical role with direct patient care in the last 5 years). A background in emergency, acute medical/surgical, critical care, high dependency unit (HDU), general medical/surgical, or paediatrics in Australia would be an advantage but not essential.

Required qualifications include:

  • Current AHPRA registration with no limitations
  • Superior nursing assessment skills
  • Intermediate IT skills, comfortable navigating software, multitasking, typing, and talking simultaneously

The successful candidate will also need to meet the following requirements:

  • A dedicated private room for their home office setup
  • A suitable internet connection
  • An active landline connection
