About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education and Community Development Specialist to join our team in Katherine, NT. This is an exciting opportunity to support the project manager, project committee, community stakeholders and partners in building community capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Partner Support: Assist with project planning, record keeping, and build capacity for community partners.
  • Data Coordination and Reporting: Provide support for strategic planning, community partners, data collation, and interpretation.
  • Community Liaison: Build relationships, network, support, and participate in community events, meetings, and administrative tasks.
  • CfC FP Activities: Promote and support Katherine Region CfC FP activities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification or equivalent in Social Science, Humanities, or equivalent work experience. You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Knowledge of the child, family, and community services sector, as well as knowledge of Katherine and the Big Rivers region, is essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
