Strength and Conditioning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Strength and Conditioning Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Para Unit, you will design and implement strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports, focusing on developing future Paralympic athletes.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in strength and conditioning program design and implementation for elite-level athletes.

You will work closely with Para sports stakeholders to identify performance outcomes for our athletes. Key responsibilities include delivering technical expertise to athletes and coaches, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the interdisciplinary NSWIS Para Unit.

In this role, you will drive high personal and team performance, analyse and communicate relevant data to improve athlete performance, and demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • Honours or Master's degree in Exercise, Health, Sport Science, or related field
  • ASCA Level 2 certification or international equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Valid driver's licence

Remuneration Details

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 AUD per annum.
