Sports Performance and Injury Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to lead our sports coverage and rehabilitation services at Movement Essentials. This role will involve movement analysis and testing using cutting-edge sports science technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing personalized exercise programs for prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. They will also provide hands-on manual therapy as clinically necessary and beneficial.
The majority of the work will take place within the gym environment, thus strength and conditioning experience and certification are highly valued. Confidence and experience in creating and instructing gym-based programs are essential.
This position offers opportunities for leadership in sports coverage, where you will have the chance to oversee teams and guide them in their care and development. However, this will require flexibility with regards to evening and weekend availability.
- A registered Physiotherapist with active registration and insurance (or soon to be)
- Experience and confidence with gym-based programming and instruction
- Pas-sion for helping others
- Experience with individualized exercise prescription and modification
- Experience with small group exercise instruction and 1 on 1
- Knowledge in movement coaching and correction
- Pas-sion for learning and growth
