Procurement Professional

The role of Procurement Officer involves providing technical guidance on procurement activities, processes and contract management. As a key member of the team, you will work under limited direction, utilizing your knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policy to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording and managing data for records in various systems
  • Supporting procurement reporting obligations through tools like AusTender and SAP finance system
  • Reviewing and drafting procurement documentation under supervision
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve Indigenous procurement outcomes
  • Providing support for procurement and contract management initiatives as required
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of procurement improvement strategies

Requirements:

  • Hold or be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
  • Experience working with Commonwealth procurement processes and systems, such as SAP and AusTender
  • Possess Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracts or be progressing towards this qualification
