
Government Procurement Specialist

Job Description
">- The Australian Electoral Commission seeks a detail-oriented procurement professional to support the critical work of the Division through advice, guidance, and assistance on labour-hire, software, and hardware procurement matters.
- Ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework and producing detailed reports to meet statutory reporting obligations is a key responsibility.
- This role allows an individual with strong research and analysis skills to develop evidence-based solutions assisting in policy or procedure formulation and/or project management.
- The position involves managing stakeholder relationships and representing the Division at meetings, conferences, and seminars.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">- Knowledge and experience in setting priorities and delivering quality results on time.
- Ability to communicate effectively while responding to stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
- Demonstrated personal integrity while achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
- Relevant qualifications and/or industry certification, such as Diploma of Government and/or Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) or equivalent.
- Sound understanding of the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework and Australian electoral law and practice.
