Job Description:

The role involves providing expert legislative and policy advice in government procurements, requiring sound decision making and judgement.

This position entails developing, implementing, complying with, and reviewing policies and procedures relevant to the work within that function.

Key tasks include engaging in complex problem solving, managing issues, and coordinating projects that impact strategic, political or operational outcomes for Defence.

The Commercial Officer will provide export controls administrative support to FACSPO Business and Enabling teams.

They must drive procurement planning, tendering, contract formation and management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent analytical skills are required, along with strong Defence writing skills and resilience in a highly demanding work environment.

The ideal candidate will have current NV1 security clearance and the ability to consume ITAR controlled data and information.
