Job Description

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for delivering complex procurements, leveraging your expertise in Commonwealth Government procurement and contracting life-cycle.

Your responsibilities will include supporting or leading streams of work including RFQ development, approach to market, evaluation processes, and contract management. You will also support the collaborative negotiation with suppliers, anticipate problems and encourage strong performance outcomes for your clients.

In addition, you will build client capability through relationships and knowledge sharing. This role requires a can-do attitude, results-driven approach and dedication to delivery.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years + experience providing Procurement & Contracts experience within the Federal Government
  • Cert IV in Procurement & Contracts or similar (desirable)
  • Baseline security clearance (NV1 and above highly desirable)
