About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled spiritual care professional to provide high-quality support and services to our clients in the Canberra Region.
The successful applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy or pastoral care, or equivalent theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake specific training within the first 12 months of employment.
- A high level of Christian spiritual maturity and a pastoral heart.
- Active involvement in a local Christian Church.
- Significant experience in providing chaplaincy or pastoral care services.
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings.
Key Responsibilities
The Spiritual Care Leader will be responsible for:
- Providing quality person-centred chaplaincy/pastoral care consistent with our organisation's values.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and working effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Facilitating safe and welcoming spaces that promote a sense of community and belonging.
