Caregiving Spiritual Leader

We are seeking an experienced Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to our community aged care clients in the Canberra Region.
The successful candidate will visit clients in their homes or hospitals, providing person-centred chaplaincy/pastoral care that aligns with our organisation's values and purpose.
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to clients, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
- Develop and implement effective spiritual care initiatives that promote client well-being and engagement.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Support and supervise pastoral care volunteers, ensuring they receive quality training and development opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy or pastoral care, or relevant theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake additional training.
- A demonstrated commitment to Christian spirituality and a pastoral heart.
- An active involvement in a local Christian Church, with a recommendation from the church leader.
- A current 'Working with Children Check' and willingness to undergo a police check.
