We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Provider to deliver person-centred spiritual care initiatives to our community aged care clients in the Canberra Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit clients in their homes or hospitals to provide pastoral support and chaplaincy services.
  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to meet the complex needs of our clients, promoting safe and welcoming spaces.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and their families, respecting diversity and individuality.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy, pastoral care, or theological studies, with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy-specific training.
  • A high level of Christian spiritual maturity, demonstrated through active involvement in a local church and recommendation from a church leader.
  • Experience working in collaborative settings, with a strong ability to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
