About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Learning and Development Advisor to join our team. The key purpose of this role is to advise on, facilitate, and support Learning and Development opportunities for employees within the DTI WASA business unit. This role will work closely with operational leaders and the People & Capability team to ensure that Learning and Development activities are aligned to the business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Learning and Development strategies to enhance employee skills and competencies
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify training needs and develop solutions
  • Design and deliver training programs to meet business objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Learning and Development initiatives
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their career development
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • 5+ years' experience working in a Learning and Development role
  • Experience working in a large multi-disciplinary organisation within Construction/Mining industries
  • Experience developing skills/competency matrices
  • Knowledge of best practice training record management, compliance, and auditing
  • Knowledge and capability working with various Learning Management Systems
  • Solutions-oriented and able to respond to a rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivated and possessing good planning skills demonstrating high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to engage across many stakeholders positively
