The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering training programs that drive business results and enhance employee performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and development opportunities
  • Develop and deliver training content, including face-to-face, virtual, and online modules
  • Design and implement training resources, using a range of development and design tools and software
  • Apply advanced facilitation skills to deliver training sessions to diverse groups of employees
  • Maintain records of training and development activities, including attendance, results, and retraining requirements
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
  • Administer and maintain our learning management system, including program, course, module, and student creation and maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, and implement them into our business
Requirements:
  • Ability to evolve our customer excellence and employee development framework to align with our values, external best practices, and high-performance standards
  • Skilled in designing employee development experiences that support performance capabilities, engagement, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies
  • Competent in a range of advanced facilitation methods, including classroom, individual, and group coaching, virtual, and webinars
  • Demonstrated experience in training needs analysis and formulating training plans
  • Skilled in e-learning content development using Articulate 360 (or alternative) and various learning media, animation, and video editing software
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service to a range of stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Personable, approachable, consultative, and strong communication skills
