About the Role

DT Infrastructure Pty Ltd is a leading provider of engineering and construction solutions that unlock opportunities for our clients, communities, and people. We specialize in Defence, transport, and infrastructure projects, offering a unique synergy of local expertise and global perspective.

As a Senior Learning and Development Advisor, you will play a key role in advising on, facilitating, and supporting Learning and Development opportunities for employees within the DTI WASA business unit. You will work closely with operational leaders and the People & Capability team to ensure that Learning and Development activities are aligned to the business needs and objectives.

This role is based in our Perth CBD office and will work collaboratively with the WA/SA People & Capability team to action learning & development outcomes and facilitate national programs locally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on and facilitate Learning and Development opportunities for employees
  • Work closely with operational leaders and the People & Capability team to ensure alignment with business needs and objectives
  • Action learning & development outcomes and facilitate national programs locally
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Learning and Development initiatives
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • 5+ years' experience working in a Learning and Development role
  • Experience working in a large multi-disciplinary organization within Construction/Mining industries
  • Experience developing skills/competency matrices
  • Knowledge of best practice training record management, compliance, and auditing
  • Knowledge & capability working with various Learning Management Systems
  • Solutions-oriented and able to respond to a rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivated and possessing good planning skills demonstrating high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to engage across many stakeholders positively
