As a key member of our People & Capability team, you will play a critical role in advising on, facilitating, and supporting Learning and Development opportunities for employees within the DTI WASA business unit.
This role requires close collaboration with operational leaders to ensure that Learning and Development activities are aligned to the business needs and objectives. You will work collaboratively with the WA/SA People & Capability team to action learning & development outcomes and facilitate national programs locally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Learning and Development strategies to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Design and deliver training programs to meet business needs and objectives
- Collaborate with operational leaders to identify learning gaps and develop solutions
- Manage and maintain Learning Management Systems to ensure compliance and auditing
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their career development
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- 5+ years' experience working in a Learning and Development role
- Experience working in a large multi-disciplinary organisation within Construction/Mining industries
- Experience developing skills/competency matrices
- Knowledge of best practice training record management, compliance, and auditing
- Knowledge and capability working with various Learning Management Systems
- Solutions-oriented and able to respond to a rapidly changing environment
- Self-motivated and possessing good planning skills demonstrating high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to engage across many stakeholders positively
