
Front Desk Assistant

As a front desk assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, answer and direct calls, and facilitate all enquiries at front reception.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will have the flexibility to work 10-20 hours per week, spread over 2-3 days, including every other Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate team members using a multi-line phone system always ensuring the highest level of customer service
- Greet and facilitate all customer and visitor enquiries at front reception
- Manage merchandise sales and assist with showroom presentation
- Assist with administrative duties including mail collection and distribution, order taking, replenishing supplies, petty cash management and banking
- Provide wider support to management and the sales, service and parts team
Requirements:
- A background in reception or customer service would be desirable
- A strong customer service ethic and proven ability to demonstrate it in prior roles
- Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues and management
- Strong computer skills and extensive systems knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
- Proven track record of punctuality and reliability
