This role is a key part of our logistics team, working closely with drivers and branch managers to ensure efficient delivery schedules are met.

About the Logistics Scheduler Coordinator Role

You will be responsible for creating daily driver schedules, managing route planning and review, and ensuring safety and compliance management.

  • Create effective and efficient daily driver schedules to deliver optimal results and total customer service.
  • Manage safety and compliance procedures.
  • Represent your organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Plan, create and manage allocated delivery schedules across multiple branches.
  • Assign resources to schedules and monitor progress of deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver performance and complete daily updates and reports.
  • Support logistics teams with onboarding new drivers by facilitating buddy training.
  • Liaise with agencies to book required drivers and 3PL couriers upon authorization from logistics manager.
  • Capture missed or short deliveries and communicate resolutions to customers.
  • Handle customer queries and delivery issues as required.
