We are seeking an experienced and skilled Healthcare Language Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in efficiently coordinating interpreting services across all modalities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating resources, scheduling interpreter shifts, and communicating interpreter attendance. They will also handle phone calls and email enquiries, providing prompt assistance and delivering operational support to ensure smooth delivery of language services.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to generating booking activity reports and work collaboratively with interpreters, hospital staff, and consumers to maintain a smooth delivery of language services.
Key Responsibilities:- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and scheduling software
- Familiarity with the medical language services profession
- An understanding of the role of the interpreter in a culturally and linguistically diverse patient healthcare encounter
